Is it a bad idea to buy refurbished lenses?
I need a new lens for my D40, but I can not afford a new one, so I'm thinking of buying a new Nikkor lens. So my question is, is it worth buying a new lens and saving a few hundred dollars, or is it better to save my money and get a new target in advance? Thanks!
I have bougth and use a number of second hand lenses. Some have been so many treasures, trash others. Depending on your needs old second hand manual focus lenses are a good value for money. Often they are optically good, and the only reason for sale is that people do not wants to do hard laborious work of turning the focus ring itself. Often, these lenses are very cheap.
