Is there a remote control that works with all cameras?

I have a Nikon D70 and Nikon Coolpix. I need a remote control that can be used for both but I found all well done so far is only for SLR cameras or just point and shoot. Does anyone know of a remote control that works for both?

I have not seen, which is like a universal "remote control for all digital cameras. I know sometimes a mark of a camera (as Nikon or Canon) sometimes have a remote control that operates a few different models. Marcos
