Roto AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm .. not turn on?
I was out taking photos with my Nikon D40 on my tripod, and then when I tried to turn the lens, would not budge. Is stuck between 55 and 45 .. my camera did not fall or anything like that, so it's not how it might be broken. separated the my camera and lens inside the lens, there was a loose movement within the stub. Does anyone know how can I possibly fix this myself? I have not enough to be repaired or replaced, and I had the camera for over a year, so I'm pretty sure that is not under warranty more.
You will not be able to repair it yourself. When the lens you will be sent in the registration card enclosed CES? Extending the warranty for 4 more years so with 5 year warranty from the day you get it. If you do not send then you get only 1 year. If you do not send and are guaranteed only 1 year will probably be cheaper to buy a new one. You can get refurbished Nikon lenses are cheaper than new ones.
