What do you think about the Nikon Coolpix S230?
I am thinking of buying this camera tomorrow. I am a little worried about the touch screen. if I were on the beach, and I wanted to take a picture, and my fingers had sand in them, would not it be the ruin of the screen? have a camera with touchscreen break easily? I want this camera to last. my last one only lasted two years even though she took care of incredible. it was a olympus. blahh. haha I'm so pissed right now, I'm in desperate need of a camera! so if you have this camera or know some who does not, please tell me how it is and any pros and cons you can imagine. I just want to make the best purchase possible. :]
The Nikon Coolpix S230 is not out yet. I think he will leave later this month. but if you need a camera at this time the Nikon S60 is a luxury version of the S230. larger screen, incredibly fast, with excellent benefits. The touch screen is incredible. I used my friends S60 and I'll be buying one of my own soon. the touch screen is the exact same type of screen for iPod touch as I have, and used it when my hands were wet, and still does not work perfectly. With the S60 is just the price … I think it is expensive but well worth the penalty.
