Can a CoolPix S500 Digital Camera record the TV?

Ok so I have a COOLPIX S500 Digital Camera and I was wondering if I could record the TV screen if Plug the camera into the TV? If I can will you tell me step by step how?

No. Won’t work.

The video port on your camera is OUT only.

The only way to record the TV is to put the camera in front of the screen and record what the TV is playing that way. It will look like crap if you do, but at least it will record.
