Nikon, Sony, Canon digital camera?

I am deciding between the Nikon S570, Canon SD1200 IS or Sony DSC-W230 / B. I'm looking for something that is big to take pictures of friends and family, and also good for baseball games, fireworks, photos, etc. A camera in the dark about everything right. Any suggestions or advice would be great!

I agree with the rest so far; Canon SD1200 IS.
