How to fix “Lens Error”?
I have a Nikon Coolpix S220 and I was on the way to Australia on the flight to L.A. I was taking pics of the clouds and stuff and it was working fine. Once we got to L.A. we were walking to the terminal and I turned it on to take pics of the city. It buzzed and showed the lens error sign. I gave it to people on the trip and they tried to fix it with no avail. I wasn’t able to take any pics of Australia with my camera; I had to buy a bunch of disposables.
I just got back yesterday and I’m trying to fix it. I’ve tried everything, tapping the lens, “bumping” the camera on the side, pressing the power button and shutter release at the same time, pressing the lens in, nothing works! Please help! Thanks!
Oh, and P.S., by pressing the lens in, it’s causing the shutter cover things to vibrate, so doing that screwed it up even more! Wow…
Uhh, repair shop.
