Nikon 80-200 vs. Tamron 70-200 vs. Sigma 70-200?
I'm in the market for one of the goals I listed above. However, since they are all the same I want to know price that you choose and why?
I would pick the Nikon. The reason is that camera manufacturers often the design of their lenses with future technology in mind. This information is not released to third party manufacturers in any way in the future can find a job than their not with new lenses and cameras. My only caveat is that the Nikon 80-200mm auto focus not on the D40 or D60. The Nikkor 70-200 despite costing a little more. You will to check the Tamron and Sigma lenses to make sure they do. If auto focus is not an issue go with the Nikon.
