Windows Movie Maker won’t recognize my camera or memory card!?
I have Windows Movie Maker on Windows Vista, and a Sony Coolpix camera. My camera’s memory card, when inserted into the laptop I have (a Sony VAIO), at first wouldn’t let me import videos, only pictures, onto the laptop. Even when I figured out how to get videos on the laptop, Windows Movie Maker would not open them, or recognize the camera or memory card when it was inserted/plugged in. I have checked the troubleshooting, and they said that Movie Maker does not support my kind of camera, and I need to download the camera’s software onto the computer. But I lost the disk of that software!!! HELP!!! haha, as you can see, i’m in a predicament. Is there any other way to get videos onto Movie Maker in Vista?
