Currently I have a Nikon D100. Is it worth buying a new body or lens?
Hi I have currently own a Nikon D100 w / a Nikkor AF 18-35mm 1:3.5-4.5 wide-angle lens. I was wondering if it's worth it for me to improve my body to a d5000/d3100 or would be better if I were to get only a new 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor lens? In all, I want to be able to take quality pictures and candid photography. Thanks
Lenses can not be used in Autofocus mode, either with the D5000 and D3100 I suggest finding a good used Nikon D90 or D300. The upgrade of the D100 is pretty amazing and their lenses autofocus when used in the two chambers.
