Pocketwizards with my SB-800 is?

I have two Nikon SB-800 and wanted to shoot wirelessly. I know I can use an SB-800 as a teacher and a control output Through my D300 Command Mode. The only thing is that it only works with my pop-up flash. In some situations in which the SB-800 is out of range, the pop-up flash not fire flares to leave. He asked if I bought a pocketwizard, I have all the same advantages of control of my SB-800 through my camera without using Use a pop-up. I understand from what little I've read that pocketwizards shoe mount my D300. Do you have a transmitter pocketwizard come with a receiver plugged into the flash and if so what model? Do I need two assistants, pocket or can I use an SB-800 with pocketwizard to control the second SB-800 wirelessly? Researchers and many people say the SU-800 not as good as pocketwizards. Any suggestions?

Your D300 uses a radio activation system … which is one of its strengths, because the flash distance need not be in the "line of sight" of the triggering device. You have to call the helpline 24/7/365 Nikon 800.NIKON-UX and have them walk through commissioning. The onboard flash output can be reduced and therefore has no effect on the subject, but the radio signal is still trigger the remote flash units. Sure you can use Pocket Wizards, but you need a receiver for each SB800 … costly and unnecessary expense.
